An affair to remember

I was a speccy

Student Love

Happy

Here are four true-ish stories from my life:

An affair to remember is about my love for the School Matron. It was published in some kind of Dragon School Book which they never sent me or thanked me for because it’s the kind of School that thinks it’s the highlight of your life just to go there.

I was a speccy – is about being a short-sighted geek and was published in The Guardian in 2003

Student Love – is about my unrequited love for my fellow student Anne Louise – a version of this was published in the book Hall Remembered, a celebration of Trinity Hall, Cambridge.

Happy – is a short about my father and is a re-working of an article that first appeared in The Sunday Telegraph.
